A MAN who admitted attacking his partner twice and flouted bail on each occasion by contacting her has been praised for his behaviour since his conviction.

Anthony Wileman was placed under supervision and handed a five-month curfew as a punishment for assault, threatening or abusive behaviour, breaching bail and assaulting police.

Most of the offences were committed between February 2016 and January of this year at 32-year-old Wileman’s then home in Clyde Court, Dalmuir.

One of the breaches was committed at Chalmers Bar, in Kilbowie Road, where Wileman was found with his partner on March 24 last year.

Dumbarton Sheriff Court heard on Friday Wileman was now living in Glasgow.

Sheriff Maxwell Hendry noted he had successfully completed the curfew element of his order and fixed a review of supervision for September 15.

The sheriff said: “I can tell by looking at you that things are going well. I want to see that that can be maintained over a longer period.”
