THEY say play is good for the health – so Scotstoun was the perfect position to host a summer fair.
The Heart of Scotstoun weekend get together offered children’s games, a barbecue, a car boot sale, and more at the 600 member charity and co-operative run community centre.
Showstoppers ranged from Clare’s Sweet Treats Big Kid Twister to Glasgow-based performers Mandulu and Hephzibah sending out music and happiness into perfect Saturday sunshine.
On social media, the musical duo of Sabrina Mandulu and Erin Hephzibah were particular popular.
Amanda Quinn said: “The girls were fabulous.”
Organisers, who raised £500, thanked everyone for turning out.
In a statement, the team said: “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who supported us.
“Whether it was through organising the day, playing music, running stalls, buying items from stalls or just coming along for a wee wander.
“It was lovely to see so many friendly faces. We appreciate your on going support.”
