THE Clydebank branch of insurance firm Swinton Group is appealing for residents who make a difference to the community in aid of charity.

“Swinton Diamonds” will see the winner get £1,000 for their chosen charity in celebration of the work they do in Clydebank.

The programme is part of the company’s 60th anniversary celebration and can include residents who foster children, run charity marathons, lead local Scouts or Brownies, work in a food bank or many other community efforts.

Aileen Hay, customer service manager at the Miller Street branch, said: “With this award we can celebrate Clydebank’s unsung heroes who give back to their local communities.”
