A WOMAN was given a formal police warning last week for stealing three packs of maximum strength diarrhoea tablets.
The 50-year-old was caught around 11.30am on April 18 at Home Bargains in Clydebank.
In another theft being investigated by officers, a 67-year-old woman reported the theft of a three-foot potted weeping willow plant from allotments on Bannerman Lane near the police offices. The plant disappeared sometime between 12 noon on April 18 and 12 noon on April 19.
Between 8pm on April 16 and 12pm on April 18, six fishing rods worth £250 were stolen from a 37-year-old man’s lock-up in Park Court, Littleholm Place, Dalmuir.
Police have also taken reports of missing wheelie bins.
On April 17, outside a property in Stark Avenue, Duntocher, two blue bins were noticed stolen around 1am by the 56-year-old householder.
And on April 5, a black wheelie bin was found to have been stolen from a property in Overton Road.
Officers ask witnesses to call them on 101.
