A MAN has pleaded guilty to sending sexual and racial threats to two girls aged just 13 and 14.

Graeme Scott, listed in court papers as a prisoner of Barlinnie, appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last Wednesday on a number of charges.

The 34-year-old admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner, contacting a 13-year-old girl via social media and uttering threats of a sexual nature and uttering racial threats from a property in Glasgow and from Quebec House in Clydebank on February 18 last year.

Between February 17 and 20, at a property in Dumbarton and at Quebec House, he was threatening or abusive and repeatedly contacted a woman via social media despite being asked not to and uttered threats, including threats of a sexual nature.

On February 29, from a property in Alexandria and Quebec House, he contacted a girl aged 14 via social media and uttered threats of a sexual nature and racial threats.

Then on March 8 last year, at the same addresses, he contacted the same girl via her mobile phone and uttered threats, made threats of a sexual nature and racial threats.

And on various occasions between December 31, 2016 and January 3, 2017, at addresses in Dumbarton, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear and alarm and uttered threats of a sexual nature and racial threats via a messaging service.

He was on bail from July 6 at the time and the charge racially aggravated.

A full narration of the case was not read out during the hearing.

Sheriff William Gallacher adjourned the case until May 2 for reports to be prepared and placed Scott on the sex offenders register in the interim.
