BRAVE Bankies have been called on to bungee jump from the Titan Crane to raise vital funds for an animal charity.

The Scottish SPCA has limited spaces available for the exciting challenge which will take place on Saturday, May 6.

Glasgow animal rescue and rehoming centre manager Anna O’Donnell said: “It’s a fantastic challenge for anyone who wants to do something fun and memorable to help animals in their local area.

"Those who have completed charity events for us in previous years have said that it’s an amazing experience and one they’ll never forget. There will be a team of highly skilled instructors to ensure participants are equipped with everything they need.

“We rely on public support to continue our work rescuing abused, abandoned and injured animals so every penny and pound raised in sponsorship really does count.”

Victoria Briggs, who previously took part in a sponsored bungee jump for the Scottish SPCA said: “I am terrified of heights and knew my friends and family would sponsor me as this is totally out of my comfort zone. All in all I raised over £900 and the bungee jump was an added bonus as I totally loved it on the day””
