MORE than 100 bikers will be part of the honour guard paying tribute to a Whitecrook man who could turn his hand to anything in life.
Robert Finlay Muirhead Lawson died on January 14 after a battle with cancer in recent months, having just turned 64 two weeks earlier.
Despite being born with just one arm, he worked in John Browns, created art as a welder, played guitar and banjo, and was a popular member of the Blue Angels biker club.
His funeral tomorrow will include a Blue Angels escort and a military guard of honour having joined the Royal Corp of Signals.
Known as “The Finn”, Finlay will be keenly missed by a large family, including his daughters and grandsons, and his mother, Wilma Anderson, of Old Kilpatrick.
Wilma told the Post: “He was wonderful. I want more people to know all the things he did.”
Pick up next week’s Clydebank Post for full tributes to Finlay’s life
