CLYDEBANK’S cinema has announced its choices for the top 10 films residents should see in 2017.
The Empire at Clyde Shopping Centre has revealed the best of the crop for upcoming film debut’s and first up is the highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode VIII scheduled for December 17.
Second place went to the live action Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson, released on March 17, followed by the June 30 release of Despicable Me 3 in third place.
Paddington 2 made fourth place with its November 10 debut and Guardians of the Galaxy 2, to be released on April 28, followed closely behind in fifth place, while Justice League was sixth for its November 17 release.
Final spots went to Lego Batman in seventh place, Fast and Furious 8 in eighth, Fifty Shades Darker in ninth and tenth place for Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge.
Jon Nutton, marketing director of Empire Cinemas said: “We’re thrilled at the line-up for 2017 and are excited to be screening so many incredible and highly anticipated films in our cinemas over the next year.”
