IN last month’s Children in Need appeal, Fantastic Beasts star Eddie Redmayne was desperately searching for Pudsey.
But, it turns out, the eye-patch wearing bear was in Clydebank all along, specifically all over Kilbowie Primary.
Pupils held a day of play, coming to school in their casual clothes and some bear-y good costumes as well, and raised an impressive £352.43.
Across the UK, thousands of fundraising efforts like those at Kilbowie Primary, pulled in a staggering £46.6 million.
Children in Need support art classes through Clydebank Housing Association, and workshops for children and young people from the community in Whitecrook.
There are also projects in Knightswood with the LINKES project for youth groups and Ignite Theatre, and Drumchapel Disabled Action 2 which helps young people with learning disabilities make friends and take part in activities. 3D Drumchapel and Drumchapel Table Tennis Club also benefitted.
