EMERGENCY services were called to investigate whether someone may be in the Clyde with a yacht moored in the water off Clydebank.
Coastguard, police, ambulance and the fire service were all on site near the town's West College Scotland campus after 6.30pm on Thursday evening.
The yacht was stationary with a dingy in the middle of the river between Rothesay Dock and Renfrew Golf Club. A rucksack was found on the golf club side of the river.
Police and the fire service confirmed their attendance but the owner of the vessel was found safe and well and all emergency crews were stood down.
