A TEENAGE boy is in critical condition after being hit by two cars while crossing Dumbarton Road in Scotstoun this afternoon.
The 13-year-old was struck by a black Audi travelling eastbound and a red Ford Fiesta travelling westbound at 2.20pm.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed he had been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and his condition has been described as critical.
The road has been closed in both directions between Harland Street and Lennox Avenue and local directions are in place while the investigation is underway.
Police remain in attendance at the site.
The spokeswoman added: "Enquiries are ongoing."
