A CLYDEBANK teenager who took images of a woman bathing and passed them on to someone else has been put on the sex offenders register for three years.

Dylan Bell had pleaded guilty at an earlier court hearing to repeatedly recording images of the woman without her knowledge or consent and to sending some of them to an unknown third party. The offence was said to have taken place between January 1, 2013 and March 22, 2015.

Now 18 years old, Bell was told his behaviour was “reprehensible” and “horrible” by Sheriff William Gallacher at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week.

He said Bell, of Singer Street, required intervention by the court over his “utter immaturity”.

Bell will be on a community payback order for three years, including carrying out 150 hours of unpaid work in the community within eight months and will go back in front of Sheriff Gallacher early in 2017 for a review of his progress.

The sheriff added: “I’m sufficiently anxious that you’re in a position that there are risks and I want to make sure you’re complying properly.”
