POLICE who were called to a Drumry property over concern for a resident found the body of a 51-year-old man.

Officers got no reply at the door and forced their way into the property in Onslow Road around 6pm on June 22 where they found the man. There were no suspicious circumstances for the death.

A spokesman said: "We received a call about concern for the person and went in and found him deceased. The police forced entry when there was no reply."

Eight cannabis plants were also found at the address which will now be destroyed.
