CLYDEBANK High School was evacuated this morning because of a "hoax" threat.
All pupils are safe and were moved from the building, confirmed a text to parents around 9.30am today.
They began returning to class less than an hour later. Police Scotland attended the scene as a precaution.
A West Dunbartonshire Council spokesman confirmed: "Police and Fire Services are in attendance at Clydebank High School in response to an incident.
"Precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of all our pupils and they have been temporarily moved from the building to allow investigations to be carried out. Parents have been informed.”
