HOUSEHOLDERS are being urged to ensure their doors are locked at night.

It follows another walk-in theft at  an insecure residential property in the Clydebank area.

In the last edition of the Post we told of how a spate of thefts from insecure cars and homes has taken place. There was another incident on Sunday, May 15, where a back door of a Mossgiel Drive, Drumry, home was left unlocked.

Somewhere between 1am and 5am a crook got in and stole cash from inside the house while residents slept.

Inspector David Quinn of Clydebank Police told the Post: “We urge residents to make sure their properties are secure at night.”
