A LINNVALE man has appeared in court to deny allegations of sexual assault.
Alistair Friel, 33, of Clydebank, denies sexually assaulting a woman at a flat in Glasgow Road in the town on May 3 last year.
He appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last Tuesday in connection with the alleged offence.
The charge against him alleges that he removed his lower clothing and underwear, kissed her on the mouth and carried out a sex act on the woman without her consent.
He has entered a not guilty plea to the charge and lodged a special defence of consent.
