A YOUNG man was charged with careless driving after allegedly causing a smash in Knightswood last week.
At around 2.15pm, on Saturday, April 30, the 21-year-old is alleged to have tried to overtake a vehicle in his silver Ford Fiesta and to have then collided with a parked Glasgow City Council refuse tipper.
The suspect’s vehicle was heavily damaged and the crash caused the airbags to trigger. Witnesses in a nearby car observed the incident.
No injuries were reported.
