A FAIFLEY man landed in court after assaulting his wife and throwing a mobile phone at her.
Iain Scholes, 40, of Craigbanzo Street, Faifley, appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last Thursday, and admitted assaulting his wife at Field Road, Clydebank, on December 6 2015 by seizing her by the clothes, causing her to fall on the floor and throwing a mobile phone at her which struck her on the head.
Sheriff Maxwell Hendry told Scholes: "There are ways to deal with tensions in relationships when tensions build up."
He added: "You are not a first offender. Continual offending will attract continual punishment."
Scholes was fined £300, payable at £50 per month.
