HOUSEHOLDERS are being urged to be vigilant after homes were broken into while owners slept in Old Kilpatrick.
Houses in what police described as 'The Islands' in the village were targeted while residents were inside their homes.
Overnight on March 22-23 at Iona Place, a quantity of goods worth around a three-figure sum were stolen.
At nearby Jura Place on the same night at around midnight, a lock was forced and thieves made off with a Mercedes convertible, goods and cash worth a four-figure sum.
On March 26, a vehicle at Iona Gardens was vandalised between 7pm and 9.30pm.
Clydebank police are appealing for information on 101.
