A MAN has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a shopkeeper in Yoker on Sunday morning.
Police told the Post a 25-year-old was was arrested following the alleged attack on Dumbarton Road shop.
Naser Hussain, 23, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg during the incident in Kof Convenience Store on Sunday at 11.20am.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening but he was due to undergo emergency surgery on Monday.
A manhunt had been underway since, with the alleged act being branded "deplorable" by top cops.
The 25-year-old is due to appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow morning.
