DRUMCHAPEL Foodbank has made a special Christmas appeal for items during the festive period.
Last year’s drive saw more than 30 families provided with essential items, including food and clothing.
Members of the community are being asked to donate new items such as hats, scarves, gloves, toiletries, gift sets for men and women, gifts for children aged one to 18, and chocolates.
The foodbank will also be helping people out with Christmas dinners and is requesting donations of turkey, potatoes and vegetables.
It also needs gravy, stuffing, pigs in blankets and any other festive foods.
All donations can be made to their office, the main reception of KCEDG, Unit 9, Ladyloan Place, Drumchapel, G15 8LB.
