A REMAKE of 1980s movie Ghostbusters — with a Clydebank twist — has been a huge hit with viewers.
Talented youngsters from youth arts group #FreshCreations delivered their own version of the legendary movie in conjunction with Clydebank-based film company 14C.
Thirty-four youngsters shot similar scenes to the hitAmerican film — except at key locations around Clydebank including the Titan Crane and town library.
Clips from ‘Ghostbusters of Clydebank’ were screened on STV Glasgow’s Riverside Show a fortnight ago. The four Ghostbusters — Sam McMillan, Jacob McMillan, Shannagh Ramsay, Dylan Bolton — were invited on as guests along with Aileen Lynn, senior youth arts co-ordinator at #FreshCreations.
The Hub on Kilbowie Road, where #FreshCreations is based, hosted the film premiere on Friday, November 6, and the place was jam-packed with around 80 guests who were eager to see the final cut.
The first scene of the movie opens in Clydebank Library and much of the action is filmed at Titan Crane where the Ghostbusters come across the Marshmallow Man (Kieran Livingstone) and Slimer (Evan Browning) characters from the movie.
