A DRUMRY woman threatened to urinate over police officers before struggling violently with them.
Claire Donnelly launched into her tirade when emergency services turned up at her house — after she had called them herself.
The 39-year-old shouted at two policemen and one policewoman that she would “batter and p*ss all over them”.
Donnelly appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week, having previously pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing, uttering threats of violence and behaving in an aggressive manner.
Donnelly, of Duncombe View, also admitted hindering three constables by struggling with them and lashing out with her legs.
Karen Nicol, fiscal depute, told the court Donnelly had contacted police at around 7.40pm on April 4 this year, also requesting an ambulance.
Officers attended and Donnelly began to shout and swear through the door at them.
Ms Nicol said: “Police forced entry to the locus. The accused told the police to f**k off. She was arrested.
“Upon being handcuffed, she made threats of violence to the police witnesses, stating that she would ‘batter them and p**s all over them’.” Kenny Clark, defending, said his client had been trying to turn her life around. He explained Donnelly had significant health problems which made her ability to carry out unpaid work difficult.
Sheriff William Gallacher told Donnelly: “While you portion responsibility to the alcohol you consumed, to some extent, the behaviour started when you started to consume it.
“You have an appalling criminal record, with previous for behaving like this towards police officers, who were doing nothing more than their job.” Sheriff Gallacher imposed a restriction of liberty order on Donnelly. She must remain within her home between 7pm and 7am each night for four months.
