    (B789 BAROCHAN ROAD, HOUSTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2010
    On the 28th July, 2010 the Renfrewshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the
    Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or
    permit to be driven any motor vehicle (except for vehicles engaged in carriageway resurfacing and footway
    improvement operations) on the following lengths of road, by reason of works proposed to be executed on or
    near that road.
    1) B789 Barochan Road, from Darluith Road to west side of Fulton Drive
    2) B789 Barochan Road, west of Fulton Drive to Sandholes Road
    The Order, which will only be effective when displayed by signs, will come into effect at 0001 hours on Monday,
    9th August 2010 and will remain in operation until 2400 hours on Sunday, 12th September 2010 or until the
    works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
    The estimated duration of the works is a total of 4 weeks, in an approximate ratio of 1 week for phase 1 and 3
    weeks for phase 2.
    Access will be maintained to emergency vehicles and pedestrians at all times, but it will not be possible to
    drive through the works. Cyclists should dismount through the works area.
    Alternative Routes –
    Phase 1, Fulton Drive to Sandholes Road:Vehicles proceed via Fulton Drive and Magnus Road, and vice versa.
    Phase 2,Darluith Road to Fulton Drive:Vehicles proceed via Barochan Road (south of Darluith Road),Deafhillock
    Roundabout,A761 Bridge of Weir Road,Main Street Bridge of Weir, B790 Houston Road and B789 Barochan Road
    Crosslee, and vice versa.
    Sandholes Road and Crosslee Road are unsuitable for large vehicles and will not be signed as alternative routes.
    (BREDILAND ROAD, LINWOOD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2010
    On the 26th July, 2010 the Renfrewshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the
    Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit
    to be driven any motor vehicle (except for vehicles engaged in carriageway resurfacing operations) on the following
    lengths of road, by reason of works proposed to be executed on or near these roads.
    Brediland Road, from Clippens Road to Moray Place/Council Office access road.
    Clippens Road, bus lay-by north of Brediland Road at the road junction.
    The Order, which will only be effective when displayed by signs, will come into effect at 0001 hours on Tuesday,
    3rd August 2010 and will remain in operation until 2400 hours on Friday, 13th August 2010 or until the works
    are completed, whichever is the earlier.
    Access will be maintained to emergency vehicles and pedestrians at all times.
    Alternative Routes –
    Vehicles should proceed via Clippens Road, Kilbrennan Road and Erskinefauld Road, and vice versa.
    The main carriageway of Clippens Road at the bus lay-by will not be affected.
    (HIGH STREET, LOCHWINNOCH)
    (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING) ORDER 2010
    On the 22nd July, 2010 the Renfrewshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the
    Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to cause or permit any
    motor vehicle to wait or load at any time (except for vehicles engaged in footway reconstruction operations)
    on the following length of road, by reason of works proposed to be executed on or near that road.
    High Street, north-west side, from Calder Street to Craw Place.
    The Order, which will only be effective when displayed by signs, will come into effect at 0001 hours on Monday,
    2nd August 2010 and will remain in operation until 2400 hours on Tuesday, 31st August 2010 or until the works
    are completed, whichever is the earlier.
    The work will be carried out in sections to maintain some of the existing parking along the length of road. The
    works area at any time will be delineated by no-waiting cones and ‘parking suspended’ signs which will show
    dates for that section.
    Access will be maintained to emergency vehicles and pedestrians at all times.

    TREE PRESERVATION ORDER
    THE ARGYLL AND BUTE, ARDENCONNEL WOOD, RHU TREE
    PRESERVATION ORDER NO. 07/09
    The above Authority under Section 163 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 has
    made a Provisional Tree Preservation Order which takes effect on 22nd July 2010 and hereby gives
    notice that:-
    1. The Provisional Tree Preservation Order was made to ensure the protection of woodlands at
    Ardenconnel Wood, Rhu and considered by the Local Planning Authority to be of considerable merit
    and contribute to the overall setting of the property and the local area;
    2. A certified copy of the Provisional Tree Preservation Order and map has been deposited at Argyll
    and Bute Council Development Services Office at Blairvadach, Shandon, by Helensburgh and may be
    inspected during all normal working hours;
    3. Objections and representation with respect to the Provisional Tree Preservation Order may be
    made to the undersigned in accordance with Regulations 7 of the Town and Country Planning (Tree
    Preservation Order and Trees in Conservation Areas) (Scotland) Regulations 1975, which Regulations
    state that:-
    (1) every objection or representation to the Planning Authority with respect to an Order shall be
    made in writing, shall state the grounds thereof, and specify the particular trees, groups of trees,
    or woodlands in respect of which it is made.
    (2) an objection or representation shall be duly made if it complies with paragraph (1) of this
    Regulation and is received by the Planning Authority within 28 days from the date of the
    publication of the Notice by advertisement.
    4. The Tree Preservation Order shall take effect provisionally on 22nd July 2010 and shall continue in
    force until
    (i) the expiration of a period of 6 months beginning with the date on which the Tree Preservation
    Order was made or
    (ii) the date on which the Tree Preservation Order is confirmed, whichever first occurs.
