Bamboozle
One of your many “name and address supplied” (I would not be surprised if they all worked for the health board) sent in the letter “I’m a novice at hospice fairy tales” stating that the health board chairman had rebutted all the hospice claims.
In doing so the writer basically copied the health board’s submission to the Holyrood Petitions committee.
If he or she had read further down the webpage of the committee they would have seen that the next item was the hospice’s response to the health board rebutting all the chairman’s claims. (http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/s3/committees/petitions/petitionsubmissions/sub-07/PE1105C.pdf).
The writer is “all ears” waiting for an explanation.
Why bother waiting when the full explanation can be found immediately after the one they quoted?
I cannot help feeling that the writer was hoping to bamboozle those members of our community who are not quite so confident on the internet and who cannot search out the submissions to the committee.
