HEARTBROKEN: Pupils at Bright Beginnings with their vandalised play equipment

CLYDEBANK’S youngsters have been targeted by heartless crooks in two separate sickening incidents.

The first thoughtless act took place on Friday when life-saving equipment was snatched from an eight-year-old girl’s wheelchair, which was in her garden.

The child has amazed medics after surviving a number of serious health problems.

And less than 24-hours later vandals destroyed a nursery play area — daubing expletives and gang tags on toys and fencing — leaving the kids heartbroken.

Bright Beginnings has been targeted four times in the last year, with play equipment being stolen and vandalised, leaving staff at the end of their tether.
